About Us

GA-Health Foundation (GAHF) is a forward-thinking health and gender justice organisation established in 2020 with a bold mission: to accelerate equitable health, rights, and socio-economic empowerment for children, young women and girls. By integrating innovative community-led strategies with evidence-driven partnerships, GAHF addresses systemic barriers that prevent women and girls from reaching their full potential.

Globally, women and girls are still only able to achieve about 60 % of their full potential, reflecting persistent gaps in agency, health, education, economic participation and safety outcomes that GAHF’s work directly targets.

At the heart of GAHF’s programming is innovative public health education and prevention. We empower communities with knowledge and tools to address health risks that disproportionately affect women and girls, including reproductive health, cervical cancer prevention and informed management of conditions such as PCOS.

GAHF’s initiatives are designed to accelerate progress toward Sustainable Development Goal5 (Gender Equality) by strengthening community resilience, reducing preventable health risks, and creating pathways to economic participation and leadership.

Since inception, GAHF has directly reached over 5,000 women and children through tailored outreach, training, and partnerships with government bodies, local leaders, and civil society. Our work combines health literacy, gender justice advocacy, and livelihood empowerment to help women and girls live informed, safe, and empowered lives.

With a commitment to innovation and a collaborative mindset, GAHF continues to scale impact and contribute to measurable improvements in the lives of women and girls across communities.
